A year we will never forget, this week is a time for reflection. Let’s come together to remember and hope for a brighter future 🌈❤️
While everyone has had very different experiences during this past year, we have all struggled with similar battles in many ways. A year ago none of us could have anticipated the full extent of what this year would have in store for us, however there are some positives!
1. Studies have shown that 65% of people are spending more time in outdoors which often has amazing benefits on people's health and mental health.
2. A study carried out by Leeds Trinity University demonstrated lockdown has meant that for many families parents have spent considerably more time with their children. More on the study here
3. For many it is believed that the general slowing down of life and removal of extra stress may have improved the quality of life for some.
4. Many families have created new memories by doing new activities together, such as playing games together, baking, drawing, walking, painting and many more!
Here at Little Secrets we have created a 'COVID-19 Memories' scrapbook with a lovely rainbow design to create your very own lockdown project! A sweet idea to do with the family and fill with artwork, photos or anything to treasure and look back on for years to come.
Alternatively, our 'COVID-19 Memories' keepsake memory ribbon box is another one of our new products for 2021.
A sweet idea to pop your children's creations, lockdown projects or photographs in to treasure and reflect on a time when the family were together making new memories together in the house!
Our brand new for 2021 personalised 'Born In Lockdown 2021' baby girl tutu romper is just too cute!
While the pregnancy and birth journey may have been very different for mums this past year, what hasn't changed is how cute their baby is! We wanted to acknowledge this and create a keepsake for parents to treasure forever and show to their lockdown baby when they grow up!
Lily from the Mental Health charity shares her experiences of lockdown in her blog Life Through Lockdown. An interesting read that discusses the impact of lockdown on Lily's mental health and coping mechanisms. You can read more here
