In light of the unfortunate passing of such a beautiful soul... Caroline Flack, we thought we would write a blog based around mental health and how important it is to take care of yourself. I know our advice may not sort everything perfectly and not suit everybodys needs, but we are writing about what we would try and do.
Our little snippets of advice to prevent your mental health taking over yourself are;
- ALWAYS open up to someone. Whether that be family, a friend, a doctor or just anybody you feel you can trust. Do it. It lifts a weight off your shoulder and someone can always be more helpful than dealing with it alone.
- Go out for food, go out with friends. Just make sure you are not alone.
- Speak to a doctor. They will offer the best advice.
Now we want to talk about Mind Charity. We looked on the website after seeing Molly Mae donate 100% of the profits from her Pretty Little Thing campaign and it looks like such an amazing charity.
About Mind Charity:
"We provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. We campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. We won't give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect. When you're experiencing a mental health problem, supportive and reliable information can change your life. That's what we do. We empower people to understand their condition and the choices available to them through:
Our Infoline which offers callers confidential help for the price of a local call
Our Legal Line which provides information on mental health related law to the public, service users, family members/carers, mental health professionals and mental health advocates
Our award-winning publications and website, now certified by the Information Standard."
Mind Charity have worked with politicians and got the voice of mental health and how important it is. If you are suffering then make contact. We do NOT want anybody suffering alone.
